Description |
Learn about the Assistive Software Knowledgebase, a new resource that the Center for Inclusive Design & Innovation (CIDI) is developing to help people make informed choices about selecting, acquiring and using specialized computer software in the workplace! As we adjust to a world with COVID-19, many employees find themselves working from home. Employees find themselves dealing with new technology and methods of communication. Unfortunately, some of these changes pose barriers to people with various disabilities. Join us for a discussion of the problems and potential solutions to using teleworking software (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams). This session will introduce CIDI’s Telework Platforms Accessibility Matrix, which is being developed by Georgia Tools for Life and the NIDILRR-funded Assistive Software Knowledgebase project. |
