Description

When faced with a workplace accommodation problem, would you like to be able to learn how others have solved it? Are you frustrated when you see a “solution” that an employer or employee made on their own that is not working well because it was chosen without adequate information?

We are developing Work ACCESS, a new online tool and mobile app, to help people, particularly employers and employees with disabilities, make informed accommodation decisions. We would like your input on what assessment questions need to be asked, what solutions should be prioritized for different scenarios, and how to make all of this easy to use.

Subject matter experts are highly encouraged to participate. People with disabilities may also participate, as we can learn from your experiences.

We will be holding two group interviews at the CSUN Conference during the afternoon of Thursday, March 12. We will brainstorm accommodation problems and solutions related to computer access. These sessions will be held in the Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort, next door to the conference/Marriott hotel, separated by a couple of parking lots. It is about a 3 minute walk to the east according to Google Maps.

We will be in the California #3 meeting room. Find your way there, or meet up in the Marriott lobby and we will escort you.
