The world around us is evolving at an astounding rate. Assistive Technology (AT) has been foundational in this evolution and a catalyst for positive life-changing results for individuals with disabilities. AT can increase opportunities for employment, community living, social interactions, safety, home care, recreation, and more, and can be a key component to independent living.
This session will introduce the Tools for Life program and its services, provide information on cutting edge technologies, and explore how AT can support individuals with disabilities in the workplace. Also, this session will touch on the basics of value-laden language and disability awareness.
Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about AT best practices so that you can continue to increase your independence. Join our session to find out how Tools for Life can help you to achieve your career goals!
