Presenters: Carolyn Phillips and Liz Persaud from Tools for Life | AMAC Accessibility at Georgia Tech, and Mary-Clare Reynolds, from the Learning Disabilities Association of America join Ani Martinez, the Community Manager for the Remake Learning Network for an enlightening conversation on their work highlighting the intersection of innovation and learning disabilities.

Session Description: Join us for and informative session to learn more about the Remake Learning Network, the Learning Disabiltiies Association, and the interplay between promising practices at Georgia Tech's Tools for Life (Assistive Technology Act Program in Georgia). Assistive Technology is transformational in the lives of individuals living with learning disabilities! The world around us is evolving at an astounding rate. Assistive Technology developments have been foundational in this evolution and a catalyst for producing positive life-changing results for individuals with disabilities. Join the discussion as we take a closer look at Tools for Life, the Georgia Assistive Technology Act Program and AMAC Accessibility at Georgia Tech and how each of these programs can provide technology and services to ease frustration, anxiety, stress and tension or staying off the "FAST" track. During this session, you will learn how assistive technology can support those living with learning disabilities and how a range of low to high tech assistive technologies are helping individuals break through learning barriers to remain productive and increase independence in all areas of life.
