Each state has both an Independent Living program and an Assistive Technology Act Program. In the grand scheme of government funding, each program is "small potatoes," but in the day to day world of people with disabilities, lives are transformed and communities are improved because of programs like [http://http://disabilitylink.org/wordpress/ disABILITY LINK], [http://www.waltonoptions.org/ Walton Options for Independent Living], [http://www.disabilityconnections.com/ Disability Connections], and Tools for Life, Georgia's Assistive Technology Act Program.
There have been significant developments over the last few years in Assistive Technology (AT) strategies & solutions for Living. Assistive technology includes a range of technologies, devices, equipment and services, which assists people with disabilities in achieving personal independence in their everyday lives. AT can, in some instances, assist individuals to live completely independently.

Assistive Technology Strategies & Solutions for Living!

There have been significant developments over the last few years in Assistive Technology (AT) strategies & solutions for Living. Assistive technology includes a range of technologies, devices, equipment and services, which assists people with disabilities in achieving personal independence in their everyday lives. AT can, in some instances, assist individuals to live completely independently.
