Financial Fitness: Georgia Tool for Life - FY15
- Tools for Life AT Act under Continuing Resolution until December 11th. As a result, TFL was awarded $114,277 of the $579,172 in our first Grant Award Notice (GAN).
- Tools for Life’s State Funds are $127,000
- RESNA has increased our Pass It On Center Contract to $9,000
- Division of Aging Services has contracted with TFL for $80,800
- TechSage has increased our Training 1 (T1) budget to $10,000
- Center for Financial Independence and Innovation (CFII) has contracted $50,000
TOTAL in Grants & Contracts (so far): $855,972

Challenge 1. High Demand for Services and TA = Need for Increased Funding
- Solutions:
- Trying to increase funding for the Pass It On Center - Hopeful that our Federal Move to HHS will help!
- State Funding Request and Effort
- Exploring even more targeted Grants & Contracts
Challenge 2. TFL serve Georgians of All disAbilities and ages throughout the whole state = Expanding TFL services in rural areas
- Solutions:
- Expanding TFL Network through strategic partnerships - Independent Living Center (ILC) Network and Aging Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Network
- More Collaborations with GA AMAC Members?

Challenge 3. Increase Quality, Access and Efficiency of AT Services throughout Georgia
- Solutions:
- Integrate AT Evaluations, AT Training & AT Consulting within AMAC Orders (PASTA)
- Integrate and Educate about Indicators of Quality (IQ) for AT Evaluations
- Create an web-based Decision Making Tool that also produces reports for AT Professionals
