AT Device Loans
Tools for Life offers short-term Assistive Technology (AT) Device Loans to people with disabilities and their families, as well as providers of education, health, employment and related services. Device short-term loans will:

Allow you to "try before you buy" AT devices and software.

Increase your understanding of the types of devices that can help you with a specific need.

Improve your knowledge of a device's features, and how those features differ from other devices that perform the same function.

Increase your understanding of how device(s) can help you at work, in school, at home and in your community

Can be used while your device is getting repair or while you are waiting on the arrival of your device

Allows you to try the device before making a financial purchase
Additional Information on Short-Term Device Loans

We ship devices to you anywhere in Georgia. Apps are pre-installed and shipped on iPads.

Borrow period is 6 weeks days with an option for short extension depending on the waitlist for the item

We include a UPS return shipping label and instructions for returning the package.

We include a packing slip with borrowing policies and a list of devices and accessories included in the shipment.

A signed copy of the AT Loan Agreement will be included in the shipment

Not all items can be shipped and TFL staff will work with the individuals on those requests

Items can be picked up at the TFL offices by appointment only, Appointments will be made Monday- Friday from 9am- 4:30pm
